Patrick Wilcken has over a decade of experience working on international human rights, most recently related to the trade in arms and security equipment. His work has covered diversion of small arms in the Iraq, Syria and Yemen; illegal arms brokering in the UK; the trade in torture equipment; and the human rights responsibilities of the defense sector. He previously worked as a researcher on human rights in Brazil and is the author of two acclaimed non-fiction books.
