Bruno Langeani
Bruno Langeani advises Instituto Sou da Paz’s research projects related to regulation and the illicit market of weapons and ammunition, drug policy and police and criminal justice reform. He worked closely with the São Paulo Military Police Commander to improve stop-and-frisk procedures and crowd management. He has done several projects related with profiling of firearms and ammunition, lifecycle and diversion of weapons and its impact on armed violence. He also conducted an evaluation of the Global Firearms Programme for UNODC.
Langeani obtained degrees in Law and International Relations from the Mackenzie and Catholic Universities of São Paulo and a Master Degree in Public Policy at the University of York (UK), and is an alumni of the U.S. Department of State's premier professional exchange program (The International Visitor Leadership Program - IVLP) .
