Jesús Martínez is a landmine survivor and human rights campaigner from El Salvador. He is the founder of Red de Sobrevivientes y Personas con Discapacidad that supports victims of armed violence and people with disabilities with training, physical and psychological support, and advocacy in fulfilment of their rights. He has been the president of the National Disability Council in El Salvador. 

Recently, he has participated in forums on cluster munitions and investigations into armed violence in Colombia, and been actively promoting the rights of survivors and people with disabilities via the Mine Ban Treaty, Convention on Cluster Munitions, and Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Martinez is a member of SEHLAC and has testified to US Congress on the need for victim assistance in post-conflict societies. He is currently studying to be a lawyer.
