Hannah Wild is a General Surgery Resident at the University of Washington. She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and MD from Stanford University. Her research focuses on improving humanitarian surgical care for civilian casualties in conflict settings, with emphasis on victims of explosive weapons and low-resource settings. In collaboration with the International Blast Injury Research Network and United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS), she leads the Explosive Weapons Trauma Care Collective (EXTRACCT), an effort to strengthen coordination between the humanitarian mine action and health sectors to improve trauma care for civilian casualties of explosive weapons.​
