Amber Darwish is an independent consultant and international policy adviser with a proven track record of in-depth research, analysis, and practice in the fields of conventional disarmament, arms reduction, arms control, and non-proliferation. She is also a fellow at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy and independent member of the NATO Army Armaments Group (NAAG). Darwish's other professional experiences include roles with UNIDIR, UNODC, and INTERPOL, and as the Chief of the Geneva Office of Conflict Armament Research. In 2015, she served as the Arms Sanctions Expert on the UN Monitoring Group on Somalia and Eritrea. She holds undergraduate, master, and advanced master degrees in international law and international relations. ​
